Its not often you get to photograph one of your oldest friend’s weddings…and by complete fluke to boot. Shot for Anne Edgar Photography & Films on a not so cold February, 2016 at the stunning Roseville Estates. Christina & Steve enjoyed an intimate wedding amongst the closest friends and family, where hot chocolate warmed the romantically lite barn ceremony, a candy bar adorned with our childhood favourites and a cake (made by The Cake Box) that tasted better than it looks (I know, when you see it, its hard to believe) waited for everyone inside the one of a kind venue. Alana & Brendan, Engaged…
Shot in the beautiful Hespler Village, Cambridge, for Anne Edgar Photography & Films, this fun couple and I hit it right off. First, they love dogs…especially their new little Bruce, who I first met at our consult and has grown so much. He is their baby. Then they pulled out their super hero ware and I was like, I can’t wait to shoot their wedding, these guys are going to be so much fun and that is exactly what Alana and Brendan were. Photographed for Anne Edgar Photography & Films, I had the pleasure of spending January 30th, 2016 with Kate and Nathan. Second shooting for Anne Edgar, I spent the morning with the handsome Nathan and his men. The beautiful Kate is definitely stunning and a very lucky lady. First our couple tied the knot at Our Lady of Lourdes. We then moved on to Roseville Estates which provided the backdrop for our Bride and Groom photos as well as wedding party. Our last stop was Whistle Bear Golf Club where the couple enjoyed an amazing meal and a one of a kind party with friends and family. Enjoy this gorgeous couple and their wedding.
Heather & Mike, Engaged!
Engagement season is upon us and I had so much fun with this couple. It is evident just how much these two love each other. Photographed for Anne Edgar Photography & Films, I spent the last snowy day of 2016 (so far) with Heather and Mike in the Rockwood Conservation Area. Trails, ruins, large trees and beautiful light. After spending just an hour with them, I am even more pumped for Friday May 13th, 2016 when I get to spend an entire day with them capturing their wedding!
The Warm Hearts of Africa 2014
The Warm Hearts of Africa presented their Roaring 20’s event this past Friday January 24, 2014 at Victoria Park Pavilion. What an amazing evening of food, drink, silent/live auction with a Gatsby inspired atmosphere, all to support school fees for 50 children in Malawi.
Warm Hearts of Africa is a charitable movement that was founded by Michael Gregson and Matthew Steele. Through goals of small business development, improvement in education and the strengthening of health care, they help Malawians help themselves. Katie & Colin, One month to go!
On February 22, 2014 I have the pleasure of being apart of Katie and Colin’s very amazing day. They are getting married and in the spirit of their one month till they getting married I have decided to remind them of their wonderful engagement session. Getting super excited guys and can’t wait.
Beautiful Ayverie
Ayverie a beautiful and strong little girl is my inspiration for this month. Well maybe for longer than that.
On January 20 Ayverie started throwing-up (which her mother thought was the flu). On January 31, after 2 trips to the emergency room and numerous vists/call with their family doctor, Ayverie was sent back to the ER to see a pediatric doctor. They did a CT scan and found a 5cm mass on the back of Ayverie’s cerebral cortex. Ayverie and her mother were rushed by ambulance (which Ayverie loved every minute of) to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton. The next day Ayverie had surgery to remove the tumour sitting on the back of her brain. On February 8, they received her official diagnoses, madulloblastom – an aggressive tumour and on February 28, Ayverie began radiation and chemotherapy.
On April 27, Ayverie’s Mom, Valerie, did something super couragous and selfless. She shaved her head in honour of her daugther. It all started when Valerie told Ayverie that she had cancer and she was going to loose her hair she said to her mom…… Ok Mommy. A couple hours later she came to Valerie and asked if she would cut her hair and sell it to someone that needs hair. Donations of this event all went to the McMaster Children’s Hospital of Hamilton, where Ayverie is treated.
I plan on doing another session with Valerie and Ayverie once she is in remission. She is about to start approximately 6 months of chemotherapy in June. Ayverie is one of a kind. She is full of everything an 8 year old should be. We love her and support her.

Henry and Emerson
Well these two little gentlemen were a delight to photograph. Both won their photo sessions through the April Baby Shoot Contest. Henry is 2 months old and Emerson is 5 months old. Both sets of parents are enjoying their new additions and I am so glad that they won this contest and I got to meet them.
